Seinfeld/Gates redux: Microsoft’s ads featuring Jerry Seinfeld and Bill Gates were widely panned, but in at least one respect, they’re outperforming the company’s “I’m a PC” campaign. The Seinfeld/Gates ads have racked up online views at a much higher rate than the “I’m a PC” ads have, according to online video-tracking company Visual Measures Corp. (Via AdAge.com)
Frazier’s bet: Frazier Healthcare Ventures of Seattle is among the investors participating in the $18.5 million venture round for Intradigm Corp., a Palo Alto, Calif.-based biotechnology company focusing on cancer treatments.
The Zillow Directory: Zillow.com today unveiled a new way for people interested in real estate to find lenders, real estate agents, inspectors, plumbers and others through a new directory that includes about 150,000 professionals. This new feature has been in the works for some time at the Seattle online real estate company. There are no ratings on the professionals — at least not yet. A Zillow spokeswoman says ratings — similar to what Avvo offers in its lawyer directory — are not in the immediate plans, but may be integrated at some point.

I appreciate your brevity by combining all 3 of these notes into a single post, but since I have an opinion only on the first, it doesn’t really seem right to comment on this whole story.
Anyhow, I’m sure more people watched the Seinfeld ad because it was basically link-bait: ‘Microsoft spends $300MM on commercials that don’t make sense’
