We’re excited to tell you about a new online technology news site that we’ll be launching in Seattle in the coming weeks with the Puget Sound Business Journal.
As part of the new site, we’ll both continue to blog and report on our longtime beats — with John covering startups, entrepreneurs and venture capital, and Todd covering Microsoft and other large technology companies. But the coverage will be much broader. We’ll also be able to leverage the expertise and coverage of Puget Sound Business Journal Senior Tech Staff Writer Eric Engleman.
Over time, we plan to add many new editorial and community features, and host events around town. (Suggestions welcome.)
The development team is hard at work on the new site. In the meantime, we’ve created this interim blog to test concepts for the new site and solicit feedback from the community. Stay tuned for the launch of the new site, under a separate Web address and name to be announced. One important note: While we’ll use some of the content from this interim blog to build an archive at the new site, comments and user names made here may not make the transition when we go live at our new home.
Thanks for following along with us as we build a new site for the Seattle region’s tech community.

The PI seems like pale, pitiful pablum with your columns gone, and the Puget Sound Business Journal, will not doubt become a vibrant venue for Ventures in Seattle. Best of luck with your own new venture. We are all looking forward to it!

It’s great to see the PSBJ embrace tech news so solidly online, and I’m already enjoying the pre-launch blog.
